Ina Hommers joined GIZ in 2009. Following posts in Corporate Communications and in energy projects in Uganda and Nigeria, in 2019 she became a Country Director, with responsibility for Nigeria and the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS). Since 2022, she has been responsible for the largest GIZ portfolio worldwide as the Country Director for Ethiopia and Djibouti. She currently head the Client Liaison and Business Development (AGE) department since July 2023.
